Retro saturdays and selena the movie

Released roughly 2 years after her death, selena the movie is a biopic about the late singer's life and sudden death. It stars Jennifer Lopez as selena which is the film that shot her career upward. Before this movie she was a fly girl on in living color. The movie itself is pretty good even if J.Lo looks like her self at times and not like selena

I remember there was huge lines to watch it in theaters and there was not a dry eye at the end. Even the biggest toughest bikers were all crying. There was also a lot of girls that dressed up and looked like selena herself. It was an incredibly touching movie and still is. If you don't know who selena is, this movie is a great introduction to her and if you do it's still worth a watch

The ending gets everyone and you will have something in your eye if not crying. This young lady touched a lot of lives when she was alive. It's usually on vh1(it will be on tomorrow) a lot if you want to watch it for free. I own the dvd though and it is well worth your money
