This morning I 1st went to the 99 cents store and turned in my application to the manager who just asked me how my day was going and that was it. After that i went to mcds and I walked in and right away there was a shift manager who I turned in my application to and she mentioned that open interviews are on fridays at 4pm
So friday I will be there at 4pm(the mcdonalds is 0.7 of a mile from my house) it's literally the next traffic light over from me and in case your wondering why I didn't apply sooner to mcdonalds. Well when I turned 19 my mom didn't want me working in fast food because I would burn myself but one day she just said that was when I was 19 and im not a kid anymore. Yeah randomly one day it was ok(I believe) to work in fast food. I did apply to mcdonalds in 2012 well at 6 of them and didn't hear back. That would be depressing but I kept applying at other locations and here I am now.
My neighbor's funeral is tomorrow morning and I still can't believe she is gone. To refresh your memory, she died of cancer that spread to her brain and lungs. I half expect to hear her voice and to see her walk by but I know that she wont.
