Retro fridays and super mario kart

My very first memory of super mario kart is when I got it in dowtown LA. I was with my dad near grand central market and we took the train to get there. At the time there was a lot of eletronics stores that sold super nintendo games at various prices. I got super mario kart because it was $13 and brand new.I remember reading the instruction manual on the way home and getting pumped to play it. The game exceeded all my expectations and it is currently my favorite mario kart. The music always takes me back to those years and the game still holds up today
