Retro saturdays and selena

If you google the name selena(no last name) the 1st result that comes up is the singer(not gomez) and this makes me have faith in humanity. For those that don't know who she is, selena was a spanish(then later on english) mexican pop singer. However she had her own unique style that didn't quite fit into the pop genre of music. When I think of the 90's, it's hard not to think about selena and how she dominated the decade(if you listened to music in spanish). I do wish she was still alive just to listen to new material but alas. She died in 1995 at the hands(or gun) of her fanclub manager in a hotel room by gunshot to the chest. Her music still lives on and she is in the thoughts of many people all over the world. Univision did a tribute concert to selena and it was the highest rated show ever. She may be gone but she is not forgotten
