Gay guys give me confidence

Ok first off I have a k.cobain like build so I am extremely self conscious. Since it's 2015 and not 1992, it is more acceptable to be gay. This is more noticeable at gyms and in public. For example I could go to a public shower and someone will be checking me out and giving me compliments.
